Use caution when working with high temperature liquids. Always store thermometer in a safe place. Hand wash only. As with all thermometers, it is recommended to check the calibration before every use. Immerse the thermometer in hot water, bring the water to a boil and read the temperature. if the thermometer reads above or below 100'C, add or subtract the same number of degrees from the temperature specified in the recipe and cook to that temperature.
