The Kenwood Double Plate Induction Cooker gives you two independent zones without the cost or commitment of a built-in hob. Induction heats the pan directly rather than the plate, so it responds instantly, wastes far less energy than gas or electric, and the surface itself stays cool enough to be safe around the kitchen. Ten power levels and a 60–240°C range cover everything from holding a sauce to searing, with a preset cooking menu and a 4-hour timer for longer dishes. Auto pan detection means it only powers a zone when a pan is on it, and child lock, overheat protection and a 2-hour auto shut-off cover the rest. Fully portable, so it works as a main hob in a flat, an extra two plates over the festive season, or a cooking station away from the kitchen.
